Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
The short answer: We don’t sell your data. Period.
Lotus Moon is committed to protecting your privacy. Unlike many apps and services, we have never sold your personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties—and we never will.
What does “sale” of personal information mean?
Under California law (CCPA/CPRA), a “sale” includes sharing personal information with third parties in exchange for money or other valuable consideration. It also covers “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (showing you targeted ads across different websites based on your activity).
Lotus Moon’s Position
We do not:
- Sell your personal information to anyone
- Share your data with advertisers
- Allow data brokers to access your information
- Track you across other websites
- Use your wellness data, tarot readings, or journal entries to show you ads elsewhere
We only share your data when necessary to provide the service:
- With Stripe to process your payment
- With RevenueCat to manage mobile app subscriptions
- With our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your personalized tarot interpretations
- With Resend to deliver transactional and marketing emails
These service providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.
Your Rights
Even though we don’t sell your data, you still have rights:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal information
- Delete: Request deletion of your account and data
- Correct: Update inaccurate information
- Opt-out of marketing: Unsubscribe from promotional emails or manage notification preferences in your account settings
